What to say at a disability exam
After you apply, you may be asked to go to a medical exam. If so, clearly describe your pain or limitations. But do not minimize or exaggerate either of them.
Medical Records and your Disability Case
Social Security will look at any medical records that address your disability, including your oldest and newest. Be sure to give information for ALL your doctors.
What happens at a disability exam?
Consultative exams are often short, but can include special tests for IQ and memory, and even breathing tests. Missing your CE appt can slow down or even harm your case so try not to miss your appointment.
