When do I receive my first disability check from Social Security?
Hello:
I was told I would begin receiving my permanent disability benefits beginning in October. To date, I have not received any payments. SSI did do a test deposit to my checking account on September 30.
Please advise.
If your month of entitlement to Social Security Disability benefits is October, your will receive your check sometime in the month of November. Social Security pays the October check in November, the November check in December, and so forth.
