Is it possible to be working while applying for disability with anxiety?
You can be approved for disability with anxiety if you are working. It depends, of course, on how much you are working and earning.
So, the answer is yes, you are able to work and earn some money. There is a monthly earnings that Social Security considers to be self supporting, if you go over that limit you are not eligible for disability benefits. If you are not working, or are working under the SGA monthly earnings limit because of your anxiety you should consider filing for disability.
Keep in mind there are two factors to every disability claim: having a severe medically determinable impairment and the inability to perform SGA. No matter how severe your anxiety problem is, your disability claim will be denied if you are performing SGA.
